Danish pastries and coffee cakes:
Linne’s made-from-scratch Danish pastry dough is
carefully made using a professional technique called
laminating. Laminating is a multi-step process of folding
and rolling the dough until it is processed into sixteen layers.
Both high-grade margarine and cake shortening are used.
The result is tender, moist pastries with full flavor and fabulous
texture. Your mouth will water for more of these fine pastries.

Bread: The Staff of Life

We offer a wide variety of homemade breads. We encourage you to call in your order, to insure we will have your choice on hand.

Our feature is salt risin' bread. Salt risin’ bread dates back to the mid-1800’s. Pioneer women used a starter to make bread for their families. This starter needed to be kept warm. This would be accomplished by placing it inside a salt block that had been heated on a wood-burning stove. A salt block was usedbecause of its capacity to retain heat. The starter was kept warm overnight in order to be most effective. Salt risin’ bread has a full-bodied, cheesy flavor. It is especially good toasted.
