Mission Statement
Linne’s Bakery and Café, a full line, made-from-scratch pastry shop, is committed to using nothing but the best available ingredients in all of our products. We research formula (recipes) databases regularly, via our bakery association, to offer new varieties of bakery foods. We are committed to excellent customer service as well. Our goal is to always provide the quality service that matches our bakery selections. At our customers’ request, we make products to fit needs and wants for their special parties.

Our History
Linne’s Bakery and Café had its beginnings in 1890 in Danville, IL, as a wholesale bread company. In the mid 1930’s, the son of the founder of the Danville operation moved to Shelbyville and began the retail end of the shop. From its inception, Linne’s Bakery & Café has been dedicated to providing quality products made from only the best ingredients. Bill Moore (a certified master baker) purchased the bakery from the Linne's in 1984. We are proud to claim that, in a day of “fast food” and shortcuts, Linne’s Bakery & Café remains a high quality “made-from-scratch” bakery.
